Creature/Pet Template

Have you ever wanted to have a dog follow you around the world, or to be able to tame and utilize some exotic bird for your own purposes? While your characters not not forbidden from having a creature or pet starting off, there should be reason why they do possess it. Creatures and Pets themselves cannot possess magic, though that does not stop anyone from using them or their abilities in conjunction with them.

Creature Type: (Is this a dog? Some type of Bird? What kind of creature is it?)
Name: (What do you call this thing?)
Origin: (Where did this creature come from? Where is it found in the wild/dungeon or how was it created?)
Description: (What does it look like? Just an image is fine, but added flavor text would be nice.)
Abilities: (What does this creature/pet do? Does it have the ability to spit out smelly liquids? Does it have the hide of stone? What is this creature able to do battle wise, if at all? Does it have the ability to communicate with a character?)
History: (Is there some back story on to how your character acquired this creature/pet? How and/or why did your character want to acquire this creature/pet or was it by chance?)
