Ok ladies and gentleman, welcome to Magi RP, here are the ground rules.
1. This forum is a controlled experience. If you're a creative writer, that is great! But you have to be ok with assuming specific roles. Many of these roles could be very open such as "Ruler of a Country" but they are pre-set conditions none-the-less.
2. You don't have to be nice to everyone, but don't be a jerk! Just because your character fell into depravity doesn't mean you have to! Harass or otherwise assault someone and I'll drop the gravity magic ban hammer on you.
3. If you want to play as a main character on the forum that means you want to be someone with King Candidate potential.(Magi's and other characters are all NPCs, but these NPCs are playable.) King Candidates may start their adventure with up to 2 NPC companions who will later serve as vassals or comrades. Read more in the Player Characters & NPCs page.
4. Plot is important here. It's designed so there is a good deal of freedom of creativity, but you gotta keep in mind that there are extremely powerful and ancient forces at work in the world pulling the strings behind many events. If you make a thread that derails the plot you'll be allowed to continue it, but you will be informed it is considered "filler" and it will be moved to a filler-rp board. Filler means it never happened as far as the rest of the forum is concerned so you can never refer to what took place in the thread.
5. No pm advertising. If you're caught doing this even once you are banned. Use our advertisement section. But be warned that we have a policy to take down ads if you don't allow us to advertise on your forum in turn.
